Having spent three days in Denmark, the Tour de France’s first stage on French soil begins in Dunkirk today, and we are delighted to share the custom Camira Print textile created to mark the event.

Utilising the design and colour freedom of this digital print technology, the fabric was made for DK Bus - the TransDev transport network which services the Dunkirk community - and is featured on two Iveco buses which will be available to the general public throughout the event.  

Created to celebrate the rich history and key landmarks of the Greater Dunkirk area, the bright yellow Tour de France fabric features cyclists and monuments in towns such as Malo-les-Bains and Zuydcoote, and is a stylish addition to the event-themed buses; ensuring the race is promoted just as effectively inside the vehicles as it is outside. 

With a rapid development time of just three weeks - from conception to installation - this project illustrates the flexibility provided by Camira Print, and showcases its ability to deliver bespoke fabrics in less than a month.
