Product Labelling & EPDs
Because we’re the manufacturer, we know exactly what we put in, so we know exactly what we get out. But don’t just take our word for it.
We believe we have the broadest collection of environmental fabrics from any textile manufacturer anywhere in the world.
Because we’re the manufacturer, we know exactly what we put in, so we know exactly what we get out.
But don’t just take our word for it.
Made with high standards
We put our fabrics through rigorous third-party eco-labelling standards which cover a wide range of different environmental profiles:
Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs)
An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is a third-party verified document which transparently reports the environmental impacts of a product from a full lifecycle perspective. The foundation of an EPD is a life cycle assessment (LCA) which evaluates a product’s environmental performance over its entire lifecycle, normally from raw material extraction to manufactured product, its usage stage and end of life.
A wide range of environmental impacts are covered, including Global Warming Potential, Eutrophication Potential and Water Deprivation Potential. Certified EPDs follow Product Category Rules (PCRs), which determine how the LCA should be conducted, and also follow ISO 14025 type III protocols. They are valid for use in compliance regulations and green building schemes, such as LEED and BREEAM.
