MVV Munich
MVV is one of the oldest transport associations in Germany, which carries out the planning and coordination of public transport in Munich.
Regional buses are operated by 40 different transport companies as independent partners within the MVV Group, and travel the equivalent of 46 times to the moon and back over the course of a year! With this amount of travel, MVV ensures every journey is a comfortable one for its passengers.
Design and comfort
All independent partners must meet quality standards and have a uniform image to maintain a consistent design for the vehicles, both internally and externally. A key element to the design and passenger comfort is the upholstery fabric.
MVV and many of the 40 independent transport companies have been working with Camira since 2004 to deliver fabrics which are all designed and manufactured to provide a coherent look and feel across the transport network, all recognised as part of MVV.
The chosen fabric from Camira incorporates different modes of transport in a complex design which invites a closer look from passengers. Not only is this a timeless design but also a practical pattern that has been carefully constructed to hide marks and blemishes from everyday use.
