Perfectly aligned with Camira’s sustainability values, Belfast’s Room2 runs on 100% electric and low carbon renewable energy and has a zero waste to landfill policy. In addition, the venue boasts unique design aspects and showcases a commitment to circular economy principles through partnering with local creative talent and eco conscious suppliers.
Camira’s environmentally intelligent bast fibre blend fabrics, Craggan Flax in shade Talus and Main Line Flax in Upminster feature on characterful cushions across the suites and Craggan Flax in the colourway, Eska is also used on headboards throughout the venue.
Created using an intimate blend of wool and plant-based fibres, these fabrics retain the raw appeal of their natural composition. Warm and welcoming, Craggan Flax is a textile made to make any interior feel like a home. Deeply textured and thickly woven, it effortlessly blends comfort with style to bring irresistible tactility and visual detail.
Crafted from a natural blend of wool and flax plant, this sustainable fabric retains the raw appeal of its natural composition, whilst possessing the contemporary aesthetic of a chunky weave to provide an element of stylised texture.
Main Line Flax, an iconic Camira textile, is made from the best nature has to offer. A 100% natural blend of pure wool and harvested flax creates this multi-tonal, inherently flame-retardant fabric.
Manufactured at our sites in Yorkshire, both textiles are ideal for public spaces, reaching higher levels of performance and flame retardancy through natural plant power rather than hazardous chemicals.
