Virgin Trains East Coast
Virgin Group has over 60 businesses across a number of consumer sectors including telecoms and media, music and entertainment, financial services, health and wellness, and of course, travel and leisure.
When Virgin was servicing the UK’s east coast line, they undertook a £140m project to improve its customer experience. Virgin Trains refurbished 45 of its trains to give passengers a better service, in comfort and style. The trains and carriages got new livery, engines and interiors, including new carpets, lighting and seating.
Luxurious leather
We worked with Diamond Seating to supply bespoke fabrics and leather: luxurious black leather seat covers with embroidered head rests for First Class, made by our in-house upholstery services team, and a three-tone wool moquette on the Standard Class to give a distinctive Virgin feel.
