About the Company

Purpose

The purpose of this role is to manage and run our recycling production “IINOUIIO”. iinouiio specialise in taking post-consumer and manufactures waste and convert it into a range of fibres, yarns and fabrics. Our aim is to demonstrate and promote responsible textile materials and methods with the aim to breathe new life into discarded textiles.

Key Responsibilities/Main Duties:

·         Managing stock

·         Packing orders for Camira and 3rd party customers

·         Run recycling production unit including both openers, baling, cutting threads, cleaning post-consumer waste sorting other waste materials and blending lubricating of materials for processing.

·         Moving Bales and stock

·         Engage with visitors to promote IINOUIIO and its work

·         Once trained be willing to train others

·         Work closely with team members and shift supervisor

·         Help with product development moving forward

·         Adhere to GDPR, H&S, and company policies

 

Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

·         We would like a person that will have a hands-on approach

·         Be practical be willing to learn, be engaging and willing to take instruction.

·         An FLT license would be desirable but not essential.

·         Basic Maths and English

·         Be trained in Microsoft Excel and word.
